We believe you know your child best, and if you feel that your they are ready for a milestone that does not correlate with their grade level, we can meet to discuss options!
BAPTISM MILESTONE- Birth to Any Age- The first milestone and scarcement begins an individual’s faith journey alongside God. With baptismal waters they are welcomed into a new life as a child of God and into His family. (Anytime)

CURIOUSITY MILESTONE- Two-Years-Old– The children will receive a prayer book, which supports their curiosity and brings families together as they read and pray. (Jan)
STARTING SUNDAY SCHOOL MILESTONE– Preschool– The children will receive a customized tote bag to welcome them into the Sunday School program. (Sept)
EXPLORING THE CHURCH-Kindergarten– During Sunday School, the kindergarteners will explore the church with their Sunday School Class and led by Pastor Nau or the program lead. During this adventure they will learn about the church and all its areas of significance. (Oct)
DISCOVERING THE WORD OF GOD MILESTONE–1st grade- Students will receive a Storybook Bible during Church Service, and immediately following in Sunday School, the children learn about their new gift. (Nov)
LORD’S PRAYER MILESTONE– 2nd grade– Throughout the Sunday School Year, the children will learn to say the Lord’s Prayer and about its significance. Then during a Sunday Worship Service, they will lead the congregation in the Lord’s Prayer! (Feb)
COMMUNION MILESTONE– 3rd grade– This will be a formal class, outside of Sunday School, to learn and understand the importance of Holy Communion. The students who have completed this class will, alongside their families, be the first to receive communion during a church service. (TBA)
10 COMMANDENTS– 4th grade– This will be taught throughout the entire Sunday School year. Then at the culmination, the congregation will recognize the 4th grade student’s achievements during a Sunday Church Service. (April)
BIBLE MILESTONE– 5th grade– Students will attend a class, outside of Sunday School, to learn about their Bibles. During this class they will learn about the Bible and how to use it, and the individuals who have completed this requirement will be recognized during a Sunday Service where they will formally receive their new Bibles. (Spring)
MOVING UP MILESTONE– 6th grade– The 6th graders will receive a journal to celebrate them graduating into the Youth group. (May)
CONFIRMATION MILESTONE–7th& 8th grade– The middle school students will meet with Pastor and church volunteers as they make a personal commit to their faiths as young people.
HIGH SCHOOL YOUTH GROUP MILESTONE– Incoming 9th grade– Once students have completed 8th grade, the youth group will have a special event that welcomes them into the high school youth group. (June)
SERVICE MILESTONE– High School– Students who have completed 9th through 12th grade will be invited to go on a Mission Trip to learn about service and providing for others. (Summer)
GRADUATION MILESTONE– 12th grade– During a church service we will celebrate the seniors who are graduating from high school and send them on with a blessing. (May)
