How I came to work at Redeemer
I was born and raised in Davenport, IA and I have lived in the Quad Cities my entire life. After graduating from Davenport Central I traveled all the way across the Mississippi River to Rock Island, IL. There, I studied vocal music education at Augustana College. I graduated from Augie with a BME (Bachelor of Music Education). After graduation, I began working at Redeemer as a cantor, Chorister Choir director, and Chancel Choir section leader. I have worked here, in this capacity, for the last twenty years.
Favorite Bible Verse
1 Corinthians 13:4-7 “Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.”
