Here are some questions to help you get to know us better. If you have further questions, please contact us.
Q: What do we believe?
A: Redeemer Lutheran Church is a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). Jesus Christ is at the center of our faith, and we come to know his work in our lives through the Bible as well as the tradition that has been handed down to us. As Lutherans, we see scripture through the lens of grace – believing that we are saved by grace, through faith, apart from works, for Christ’s sake. God is the one who reaches out to us when we are lost and brings us back, and the best example of this is Jesus Christ coming to earth as a human being to lead us into abundant life and die for our sins.
Generally speaking Lutheran teaching can be summed up by “Three Solas”: (1) Grace Alone; (2) Faith Alone; (3) Scripture Alone.
We hold to the Apostles’, and Nicene creeds, and we preach and teach in accordance with the Lutheran confessions, found in the Book of Concord. Being part of a tradition based in the Reformation, we believe that God is continually working in the church, to reform us and help us grow.
Q: Do you have a preschool?
A: Yes, we have a preschool affiliated with our church that is very well respected in our community serving three and four year olds. Learn more here.
